Change the default address list of the Outlook Address Book.

Problem:
Change the default address list of the Outlook Address Book.



Solution:

When you use Outlook without an Exchange Account, the default address list when bringing up the Address Book and when pressing the To, Cc or Bcc buttons is your Contacts folder.
When you use and Exchange Account, the default is the Global Address List.
You can change the default via the following steps;
  1. Open the Address Book by pressing CTRL+SHIFT+B or via;
§  Outlook 2007 and previous 
Tools-> Address Book…
§  Outlook 2010 and Outlook 2013
Use the Address Book icon on the right side of the Home tab in the Ribbon.
  1. In the Address Book dialog choose Tools-> Options…
  2. Use the dropdown list for “Show this address list first” to your preferred address list. 
    In Outlook 2010 and Outlook 2013, this option is called “When opening the address book, show this address list first”.
  3. Press OK.
  4. Close the Address Book dialog.

Solution:

Method 1:

a) Uninstall skype form control panel.

b) After installing office, re-install skype.

Delete the keys (items) you find here.

Problem:

Excel 2013 right click doesn't work in spreadsheet.

Solution:

Check if excel works in safe mode.
1. Hold Windows key + R.
2. Copy and paste, or type the following command in the Open box, and then press Enter:
Excel /safe

Note: There is space between Excel and / If Excel safe works, disable the add-ins following steps mentioned below and determine the problem causing add-in: 
Try deleting following key from registry.
Excel 2007. Go to regedit and delete Options entry from HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\12.0\Excel\ and verify the result.
Note:
• Hold Windows key + R.
• Copy and paste, or type the following command in the Open box, and then press Enter:
regedit
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\12.0\Excel\Options
right click on Options and delete it.
Note: Ensure to back up the registry before any modification or deletion.

Method 2: Oepn regedit and modify the defaule values for file associations for.

HeyKeyClassRoot\.htm and HayKkeyClassRoot\.html, the (Default) value change from something like.change the value from ChromeHTML.I2O57VLN4B4DF63FN2NAI4AUOI to "htmlfile".do the same for HKCR\.xht and HKCR\.xhtml  and changed from orphaned Chrome entries to "xhtmlfile" Note: Please take the backup for registry before making any changes in registry.
