Solutions: In Outlook 2016, go to File – Account Settings .     3.     Open the IMAP account and then choose the More Settings… option. 4.     Make sure the Deleted Items settings match the following…         Note: This issue with some of the IMAP service provider since we have tested it with Gmail/Yahoo/Outlook etc. and it worked.   You May be interested to know why it is now working: Outlook 2016 is RFC compliant. As part of that change, it now chokes if the UIDVALIDITY returned by the mail server is 0. Microsoft is considering making a change to accept a UIDVALIDITY of 0, but they're really hoping the mail server providers will make the fix.

Running slsmgr -dlv or slmgr -ato from a command line generates the following: The data is invalid. Error code 8007000d. Cause The System account by default has Full Control permissions to the registry path HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Enum\Root and any subkeys. If those permissions have been altered for the 'Root' key or any subkey(s), we would see the error code 0x8007000D Resolution Assign the minimum permission of "Enumerate Subkeys" to the System account for the registry path HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Enum\Root and any of its subkeys.
