Word has no Page Gallery when you try to insert page numbers.??

Problem

When you try to add page numbers in a Word document, it won’t show the default templates to insert.

Cause

This is a corrupted file called “Building Blocks.dotx.

Solution

Close Microsoft Word.
Locate the file called “Building Blocks.dotx” and delete it:
Windows XP Location:
C:\Documents and Settings\{your username}\Application Data\Microsoft\Document Building Blocks\1033\Building Blocks.dotx
Windows Vista & 7 Location:
C:\Users\{your username}\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Document Building Blocks\1033\Building Blocks.dotx
