ReplyDeleteHi Fishika,
ReplyDeleteIf you are in Registry windows the very first registry hive will be Hey_classes_Root.
then you will be able to locate the other hives as well.
Let me know if you need any other help.
Let me add a little to this, what worked for me: Key: Excel.Sheet.12 - Change Open/Command/Default to the suggested /e "%1" (subbing the /dde at the end). AS WELL AS deleting the whole ddeexec sub-keys.
ReplyDeleteAfter a long hard search the issue was caused by running MS Excel in Windows XP (Service Pack 3) mode, removed this setting and normal service was resumed.
ReplyDeleteIt's nice that Microsoft makes software that you have to be a programmer to make work right!
ReplyDeleteThat didn't work for me.
ReplyDeleteI recreated the user profile and that fixed it
not working
ReplyDeleteTried both methods. Any advice?
