Method 1:

  1.  Close IE, Outlook
  2. Installing another browser (like Firefox or Chrome)
  3. Set it as Default
  4. Close it
  5. Open IE, let it get set as Default
  6. Close it
  7. Now try Outlook

Method 2:
Oepn regedit and modify the defaule values for file associations for.

  1. HeyKeyClassRoot\.htm and HayKkeyClassRoot\.html, the (Default) value change from something like.
  2. change the value from ChromeHTML.I2O57VLN4B4DF63FN2NAI4AUOI to "htmlfile".
  3. do the same for HKCR\.xht and HKCR\.xhtml  and changed from orphaned Chrome entries to "xhtmlfile"
Note: Please take the backup for registry before making any changes in registry.

office 2013 activation error 0x80070005.

Problem: Office 2013 Activation pop up with error 0x80070005. Solution: If you are using office 2013 and it worked fine till today but now you are getting activation error message while using office applications with error code 0x80070005.
