Excel 2013 crashes in windows 8.1.

Excel 2013 crashes in windows 8.1??

Solution:
Open the following path in your computer.
Or
Search for the osf.dll file in your computer.

1) C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office 15\Root\Office15\

2) Look for osf.dll and rename it to osf.dll.old

3) Close the application.

4) Restart the application.

  2. No, it did not help.
    Excel still crashes when trying text to columns, format cells or print (and who knows what else).
    Excel seems to work in safe mode.
    Don't have any active add-ins.
    What to do next?

      Have check what is the faulting module in event viewer because there could be some other error in excel.

office 2013 activation error 0x80070005.

Problem: Office 2013 Activation pop up with error 0x80070005. Solution: If you are using office 2013 and it worked fine till today but now you are getting activation error message while using office applications with error code 0x80070005.
