Problem:
Excel 2013 crashes in windows 8.1??
Solution:
Open the following path in your computer.
Or
Search for the osf.dll file in your computer.
1) C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office 15\Root\Office15\
2) Look for osf.dll and rename it to osf.dll.old
3) Close the application.
4) Restart the application.

No, it did not help.
ReplyDeleteExcel still crashes when trying text to columns, format cells or print (and who knows what else).
Excel seems to work in safe mode.
Don't have any active add-ins.
What to do next?

DeleteHave check what is the faulting module in event viewer because there could be some other error in excel.
